The differences in the design changes made to the 20RESCL-200SELs are an upgrade to the engine mounting block and the gas regulator. They were upgraded to allow for a lower gas pressure (3.5” water column). Benefit of the new 20RESCL-200SELS - if you have an older gas meter with the new 20RESCL – an upgrade may not need to be made to the gas meter-saving you time in permitting and not upgrading you gas meter (cost savings).

Amazing
This kept us very comfortable through hurricane Ida. I have two central ac units and 3 water heaters, hot tub, all electric house. We operated as normal for the entire time we were without power. The lights would flash when the ac would come on, but just for a half a sec. It's hardly the volume of an ac unit. It's loud as can be, but its a great piece of equipment. Easy install.

So wonderful, I am buying another for my new house!
I purchased this generator in 2014. In the six years I owned that home, the only service calls I had were my annual tune up and oil change (which I actually never called for, the company I purchased it from automatically sent out a tech. Every Tuesday at 1 pm, the generator did its weekly check up cycle (it takes control of the house’s power supply and runs for a few moments). I lived on the North Shore of Long Island, an area often plagued by hurricanes and service outages (a majority of areas are still served by overhead power lines / service interruptions could be a blown transformer or a car vs pole accident). Without any major storm, we could still count on several outages per year. The Koehler generator ran (and is still running, per my neighbors) ran extremely well (I could have run my own power company, the amount of neighbors Orange extension cords snaking from my property during outages!). The original reason I purchased Koehler was the composite cover - with the salt air, competitors covers rust through (thus exposing the generator) very quickly. Now, I am building a new home and I would not even consider anything but a Koehler!

Kohler Works Perfectly Impeccable Timing
Just finished the final installation of the new Kohler unit on 6/9/2020. It was a sunny day and at 5PM the power went out. Large tree had fallen on power lines. The unit fired up snd everything ran perfect for the next 13 hours. Wow timing could nt have been better.
The AP team was fantastic from start to finish.
Our investment has already paid for itself. -
Kohler Generator
A few months ago I bought this generator, and it went on sale during the 30 day period. So I am requesting that reimbursement. I just did it so not sure they have seen my request yet, but I'm certain they will honor it. I have already given information to my local installer as others are interested in this unit.

You can't beat Kohler quality and I was very pleased with the looks of the generator. Great assistance on the phone in selecting this generator no high pressure sales tactics.
