The differences in the design changes made to the 20RESCL-200SELs are an upgrade to the engine mounting block and the gas regulator. They were upgraded to allow for a lower gas pressure (3.5” water column). Benefit of the new 20RESCL-200SELS - if you have an older gas meter with the new 20RESCL – an upgrade may not need to be made to the gas meter-saving you time in permitting and not upgrading you gas meter (cost savings).

I deal every day in locating and purchasing equipment. I must say they must have a good reputation with the shippers as well as their vendors. Lets not forget the review of the product... the Kohler 20RESAL is a great product. Every part was installed and all fasteners were correct and tight. Directions were spot on (the ATS line/load/emergency lugs should be marked) Wired/ plumbed gas line and pushed run. it ran perfect! simulated a power failure... operated perfect! Not often you purchase something and every every everything works as advertised the first time. Purchased the Kohler after spending a great amount of time doing research on reliability, warranty, and reviews. Kohler came on top hands down.
