• CAT RP5500 – CARB is a portable gasoline generator designed for home, work and play. It is powered by a robust Caterpillar 300 cc OHV engine with a max 3600 RPM and has the pull start system. The hardwearing steel-tube roll cage has isolation mounts for vibration reduction.
• This 120V / 240V @ 60-Hz portable model generates 6875 Starting Watts and 5500 Running Watts. It functions quietly without disturbing the neighborhood.
• The 5.5kW generator has a splash oil lubrication system. Recommended oil is SAE30 or 10W-30 and the oil storage capacity is 1.1-qt /1 - L. The low oil shut down system protects the engine.
• CAT RP5500 – CARB has a large fuel tank made of non-corrosive steel and stores 7.9-gallons/ 30-liters of unleaded gasoline. With a full tank and 50% load you can run it for 15-hours.
• It is easy to set up, operate and maintain the generator. The illuminated digital display shows voltage, frequency, runtime and total hours. Controls for start/stop, choke and fuel shutoff are mounted on the easy-to-use control panel.
