The WGen7500 is reliable and powerful. It offers 7500 running watts and 9000 peak watts. Its engine is the 420cc Westinghouse 4-stroke OHV with a protective cast iron sleeve. This generator has two Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) 5-20R 120V Household Duplex Receptacles and One L14-30R 120/240V Twist-Lock Receptacle. All the outlets have rubber covers on them for protection from the elements and other potential problems. Using this generator is easy; a Plug-and-Play kit comes with a 12v battery charger, oil, an oil funnel, a tool kit, and a manual to get you started. A little assembly is required.

it's for emergency use
I don't have much to say. I assembled it ran it for about 15 minutes to run small amount of gas out, sounded good and I just hope when I have to use it, it doesn't crap out on me like the last generator I had (not a Westinghouse)

Easy setup, meets needs
Up and running in an hour, everything checked out. After 8 days on a borrowed generator after late October windstorm, I finally decided to quit putting off buying my own. Now I'm ready. Will run everything in the house, but not all at the same time (heat pump, water pump, furnace, water heater, freezer and fridge, lights.)

Doing the job!
I live on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Hurricanes and power outages are a regular part of life. I've owned four generators over the years. The last one was a Honda Super Quiet 5500K that lasted 15 years, but cost a bundle. Last year it finally died and I searched high and low for one to replace it. All the compatible Hondas were out of my price range and then I came across this Westinghouse model. It's more powerful than the Honda was, but the price was appealing. It's not as quiet as the Honda, but much quieter than any other generator of equal wattage. It arrived damaged, but it was impossible to tell when the damage occurred, from AP to Miami or from Miami to St. Croix. In any case, Westinghouse stood by the product and mailed me replacements for the damaged parts. Category 5 Hurricane Maria hit us on September 19 and brought heavy devastation. We've been without power since then (5 weeks at this writing). My Westinghouse has been working like the Lone Ranger's Ol' Silver - 14 hours a day - providing power through a transfer switch and into the circuit breaker panel of our condo unit AND also powering the refrigerators of three of our neighbors! So far it's been hard working, powerful and dependable. I change the oil and clean the air filter weekly, but other than that, it doesn't require much attention. Starts every morning with the easy electric start. Although some of the metal is not handling our heavy salt air environment as well as I'd like, I can't say that I would rate this generator as anything less than amazing. We're not expecting power back for another 4 weeks or more, so if this hurricane's recovery period does end up taking everything out of it and I need another, I don't think I'd hesitate to replace it with another Westinghouse 7500 from AP. Great Product! Great Value!

Westinghouse 7500 watt generator
Assembly was minimal, and easy. Electric start works well. Battery arrived already charged. Operating noise was lower than expected, with a very good muffler. Frame design protects the entire engine and generator assembly. Purchasing an interlock kit to allow connection into our main circuit breaker box. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mid-sized portable generator.
