Kohler Part No....
After trying several other sites to order this part from and getting terrible results, i.e., non-English speaking agents, email replies asking stupid questions before taking an order, AP had an English-speaking, knowledgeable agent answer my questions. Now I have to try and deal with Kohler about why these hinges failed after only five years of use, and by "use" I mean opening and closing the generator lid a dozen times over that five-year period. Not AP's problem, of course. The agent also said I didn't need to replace Part No. 84044, Engine Cover Assembly, which also failed very prematurely. So, yes, good company to buy from, not so much dealing with Kohler customer service.
