I'd placed an order for this thru Lowes...then they told me of the delivery slipping out to ~6 months. I was able to cancel Lowes order, and AP Electric had one on my way in 2 days, with me arranging to meet the truck and offload onto a rented trailer by day 4. amazing. it was a bit of a rush to get the pad built and to get some help to get from the trailer onto the pad...but all went well so far. now dealing with my propane supplier and an electrician to complete the installation. I'm confident the product will work well....main concern is that AP shipped a 22 KW instead of an 18, so I'll need to use a bit more juice if the power does go out!!

Generac 18 Kw generator
I purchased the 18Kw Generac from AP Electric. There was no delivery charge, a solid plus, and the personnel that I spoke to were very helpful. It was not installed until early August because of delays with my electrical contractor. We already had a chance to test it out when a severe storm knocked out our power for about two hours. The Generac started up quickly, restored our power and ran like a charm. The transitions to start and stop running were smooth. I did have one problem with delivery. It was shipped too early while we were out of town. I was able to delay it, and the eventual delivery went smoothly. We're very glad to have our Generac backup system and I strongly recommend AP Electric.

Very pleased so far.
It took me a few weeks to get it installed after I received it. Haven’t had to use it yet. Worked great when installer showed me how it works.
