February 2021, 5 degrees Fahrenheit!!! No water no internet and no electricity for 4 days!!!
I have the guardian 22kw generac, it did not start automatically like it should have in the early morning hour of February 15th. I thought it was a bad battery, but when I checked the generator in the morning I saw too many crank attempts error. I reset and on the second crank attempt the generator started. Not a battery issue, it was too cold at 5 degrees. I will get the full cold weather kit with the intake heater to prevent this from happening again.
The generator ran flawlessly for 4 days and I was even able to run an extension cord to my neighbors house to give them power!!! This generator kept my family, my wife's family and my mother and neighbors from freezing in February 2021 - The Texas SnowVid. -
