Generac 7173 13kw Features:
- A Generac 816cc G-Force 2-cylinder engine. The cylinder block is made of non-corrosive aluminum that also serves as a highly durable casing. The oil tank stores up to 2.2 quarts of oil. The air-cooled gas engine runs at various speeds using the G-Flex variable speed technology.
- Protection systems. To protect itself, it shuts down when it senses low oil pressure, high temperature, over crank, over or under speed, controller fault, wiring error, over or under voltage and so forth.
- A control panel that alerts the operator with an alarm when there is a faulty condition so it can be remedied.
- An engine that has a dual fuel carburetion system and runs on liquid propane vapor or pipeline natural gas. The fuel system is configured during installation.
- An Interface Menu that is displayed on the LCD panel. The menuincludes a home page and other subpages that allow you to check the history or status or edit or debug. Firmware can be updated using a USB port.
- Generac 7173 is perfect for residential use and can power up sump pumps, refrigerators, air conditioners, furnaces, computers, monitors, TVs, lights, microwaves and so forth.
- A 5-year limited warranty.

Best purchase in years (13KW)
Received at the start of Covid pandemic.
Installed and waited for the first time power went out. Had a big lightning storm that knocked out the power for hours. Came on automatically for straight hours. Reef aquarium didn't miss a beat and wife was extremely happy that everything worked great. Only house on the block with power. Next door neighbor was having a party so we threw an extension cord over the fence so their food didn't spoil and they could have some light.
Perfect size for our house. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Does the Job
ordered during a recent sale. Seeing that I will be working from home for awhile due to the virus needed to be sure I could actually work in the event of a power outage.

Very Nice
Nice performing generator. I have had installed for 6 months. No issues. 2 power outages of 3 hours and 5 hours and it performed perfectly for each outage. Pleased with our purchase.

Generator works as it should but really has not been put to the test. Fast delivery and great customer service in helping me select the right generator. No pushy sales people just really knowledgeable generator experts. I would purchase from this site again.
