A Generac G-Force Engine runs the Generac 70422. is Considered to be Generac’s best engine, it is pressure-lubricated, durable, stable, and capable of running for many years. It does not need maintenance as much as other brands. The generator can provide a maximum of 22000 LP watts and 19500 NG watts. It does not include an Automatic Transfer Switch when purchased.
For people who are concerned about noise, The 70422 operates at a reasonable 67 Decibels and the True Power™ Technology in this model reduces any harmonic distortion to less than 5%, so you get smoother power. A Quiet-TestTM Self-Test Mode lets the generator test itself at a slower RPM for five or twelve minutes. This helps make the generator more fuel-efficient.

Arrived withing 3 days from order actually. Ordered on Monday arrived on Wednesday. Quality product and installation went off with no issues. Awesome Generator & Support
Was fortunate to have purchased our generac 22kW generator with transfer switch in January when it was on sale. Installed it a couple of weeks after it arrived. Big Noreaster rolls through Maine we will live. Power goes out. No worries. Generator performed flawless and was way less noisy than I thought it would be when it was running. Perfect timing

I've used these generators before and have been very pleased and familiar with the start up procedure. this generator has a problem with the display board and you cannot program it. called ap generator for assistance and could not get passed the person that answered the phone. ultimately had to call generac directly and talk to tech support. it was determined that there must be a defective board and now I am waiting for a service tech to do a repair on it.
