A Generac G-Force Engine runs the Generac 70422. is Considered to be Generac’s best engine, it is pressure-lubricated, durable, stable, and capable of running for many years. It does not need maintenance as much as other brands. The generator can provide a maximum of 22000 LP watts and 19500 NG watts. It does not include an Automatic Transfer Switch when purchased.
For people who are concerned about noise, The 70422 operates at a reasonable 67 Decibels and the True Power™ Technology in this model reduces any harmonic distortion to less than 5%, so you get smoother power. A Quiet-TestTM Self-Test Mode lets the generator test itself at a slower RPM for five or twelve minutes. This helps make the generator more fuel-efficient.

We are happy with our purchase. It has been installed for a bout a year now and it has only come on twice so far. One outage was for 3 hours and the other power outage was for 6. Worked great. This website is also the best place to purchase the maintenance items as well

Great Generator. We are very pleased with our Generac 20kW generator. We bought it 6 months ago and was put to the the test for the first time 2 weeks when an ice storm rolled through our area so I decided to write a review.
The neighborhood was without power for approximately 48 hours....but not us. We were without power for less than 15 seconds. One of the best investments we have made. -
