Generac 0663860SRV Brush

After installing AP brushes the Generator immediately started putting out 240 volts, I had to clean off the stater ring first of carbon build-up from arching .

it was a lot of work to gain access to the slip rings to replace. The slip rings were dirty and I cleaned them. Pain to do. The original brushes were fine but I replaced them since I had removed them to clean the slip rings. Design should have had easier access or a brushless generator Design

I ordered the Generac 20Kw brushes and they came in quickly, I watched a youtube video that shows how to replace them. I took my time taking apart the generator and finally got to the brushes. I replace them accordingly to the instructions given, after that I assemble the generator back and then started the generator and is working great. No more low voltage codes. For the price of the brushes I can not argue. It was simple to do, just take your time and be sure that you put back everything in the right order. Again GREAT item and EXACT fit.

Exact replacement for 10kw Generac. Rapid shipping, 1200 hr unit up and running again as good as old. Just wish you did not have to disassemble the whole unit to replace a simple set of brishes.
