According to reports, Mississippi was hit with severe weather in the form of four tornadoes that toppled trees and knocked out power. The storms traversed Mississippi late Wednesday night April 22 and pounded the area with heavy winds, tornadoes, flooding, wind surges and hail.

One possible tornado in Mississippi caused damage in southeastern Rankin County early Thursday.
