The Generac 70371 16/16kW Air-Cooled Standby Generator is a powerful, quiet, technologically advanced source of backup power for your home. It provides power, protects your home’s circuits, and it can even supply your entire house with electricity if you add the Generac Load-Shedding Switch. The 70371 could even power a 5-ton AC unit.
The Generac 70371 gets power from the Generac G-Force Engine. It can supply a maximum of 16000 LP watts and 16000 NG watts. I ordered by phone after finding the web site because I had some questions. Kariann was most helpful. I enjoyed working with her on completing my order. Had the unit several weeks before getting the electrician & gas people all coordinated for the hookup. Haven’t had a power outage since the hookup was completed, but it comes on for the weekly check just like it should. Everything has gone smoothly.

Great company to do business with. They were very patient in answering all of our questions. No hard sales pitch. Just useful information in helping us select the right size generator which for us was Generac's 70371 16kW generator.
The generator while installed has not been put to the test yet as no power outages since its installation. I am actually sort of hoping for one to see how it performs. -
Perfection
Right size and right price. We bought our Generac 70371 16KW generator in December when AP Electric & Generators was running a sale.
Arrived in 3 days after order as promised and in perfect condition. No issue on our local electrician installing it. He said that while he does not install a lot of home standby generators the install was easy and that any licensed electrician should not have a problem installing a generator. He has done all the wiring in our house so we called him for the install. Fair price we thought $2,000.
Power outage occurred on February 17 not long buy long enough 16 hours. Performed perfectly.
