Its brushless alternator and capacitor voltage control maintain ±5 % voltage regulation and less than 5 % total harmonic distortion (THD) — providing clean, reliable current that’s safe for both sensitive electronics and heavy-duty equipment. With a cast-iron gearcase and helical gears, this generator is engineered for smooth, quiet operation and long-term durability.
The W10PTOS is designed for simplicity and safety, featuring a large 3″ voltmeter, premium Square D circuit breakers, a bonded neutral, and ground lug. The only problem I had was it taking so long to be built and shipped.
Right now I'm building up platform to go on a three point hitch Carry All frame -so all I have to do is back up to it with my John Deere tractor using the John Deere iMatch Quick Connect, set it down next to the power connection on the house, plug it in, and fire it up whenever the power goes out. The purpose of the platform is ease of use and a built on dog house to protect it from any rain or snow that might be happening during a power outage as well as during storage. Of course the ends are open to maintain airflow for cooling.
All that's left now it the test of time. Get back with me in about 20 to 30 years and I'll let you know how it went. :o)
