Built around the Kohler KG6208 6.2L engine, the 60RCLB operates at 1800 RPM, reducing noise and mechanical stress while improving fuel efficiency. This naturally aspirated V8 is supported by a brushless, rare-earth permanent magnet alternator and delivers stable voltage and frequency, even under sudden load changes. The system is field-convertible between natural gas and propane, and maintains its emissions compliance across fuel types.
The generator supports multiple 3-phase voltage configurations including 120/208V, 120/240V, 127/220V, and 277/480V, allowing flexible integration into various commercial power systems. Thanks to Kohler’s Fast-Response® X excitation system, the 60RCLB maintains ±1% voltage regulation and <3.5% total harmonic distortion (THD), delivering clean, utility-grade power that’s safe for sensitive equipment and motor-driven loads.
Control is centralized through the RDC2 digital controller, which manages both the generator and optional transfer switch functions.
