The Generac RXSC100A3 is a 100-Amp open-transition transfer switch designed for single-phase 120/240V generator systems. It’s the non-service entrance option in Generac’s RXS/RXSC line, built to work with Evolution™ or Nexus™ controllers. This ensures your home’s power will seamlessly switch from utility to generator during outages and back when utility power returns—without manual intervention.

This model is engineered for smarter power management. With its integrated Smart A/C Module (SACM), the RXSC100A3 can manage up to four HVAC loads (24 VAC controlled) with no additional hardware. For homes with more loads, optional external Smart Management Modules (SMMs) allow further expansion, giving you flexibility in how your generator handles peak demands.

Durability and protection are part of the design. The switch comes in a NEMA 3R enclosure, made from steel, capable of being installed outdoors (or indoors under shelter). It features a heavy-duty contactor, rugged internal components, and is backed by a 5-year limited warranty for peace of mind.
