gas will not pass through regulator
the regulator will not work, this is the 5th time a Generac certified tech. was supposed to show up to fix but he didn't make it. We called and he says he needs 750$ just to look at it. THATS BULLSHIT .This thing has a gas regulator that only exist within this generator. There is no way to adjust or reset. Also there is no tech. info on this particular regulator, there is a lot of info on the previous models, with complete breakdowns and service info on the regulator. The only info i can find on this regulator is haw to buy a new one

Very Happy
I had a 7000 watt Honda portable for 12 years. It was awesome. Had it run my whole house and started on its own I would still have it... but it did not. Every time the power went out we would have to breakout the generator, start her up and switch over the box. I purchased the 22K with transfer switch during the "get 10 year extended warranty" sale. My electrician completed the installation 3 days ago. Last night the power went out at 1 in the morning. My wife woke me to tell me the generator took over the house and we had power...! She was so excited. So far so good. Excellent product. Only disappointment was the product changed between the time I purchased and the time it was delivered. The external plug was deleted, a feature I could have used. Call center has been friendly and helpful.
