We have had our 22KW for 10 years and have had 2 previous cellular communicators. Had planned to convert to WIFI communicator, however it was recently discontinued. Waited a few months to see if there were any problems with new 4G/5G cellular communicator. I installed a couple weeks ago and had Generac delete our old 4G and connect to our new 4G/5G. It updated immediately and signal strength seems good. It also displays outdoor temperature now.
