I live in eastern PA and on Sat. 10/29/11 we had a freak major snow storm. We received 8-10 inches of wet heavy snow. Since the trees still have the majority of their leaves on them the weight became too much for the trees and broke off branches and even leveled many trees. All of this resulted in thousands and thousands of people being with out electric service. This was the first test for my new Generac Portable generator model 5735. This generator has been going practically non stop for the last three days and we are told by the utility co. that we probably will be with out normal power until Friday or Saturday. Because of the performance of this generator so far, Thank you all for helping us. Thank you Generac people, all the people at AP Electric & Generator Supply, and also the shipping people. Tom High"

I researched portable generators for a solid month - This is the one I purchased. Go ahead and flip the extra 300 bucks and get this (17.5KW) vs. the (15KW) - You get an extra 2.5KW at a very cheap price. Very well built, and easy to assemble. On time delivery - very friendly staff - perfect from start to finish."
