Buy here and not from Generac.
I attempted to buy the same product directly from Generac's website. They admit on their site that the photos may not be accurate so I bought the filter I believed was the right one based on model # and their search engine, but 2 weeks later when it arrived it turned out to not be the correct filter. Generac refused to replace or refund my purchase stating that I should have called them for confirmation before purchasing from them.
At AP Electric, I punched in my generator's model #, ordered the suggested air filter and badabingboom! not only was it the correct filter, arrived much quicker, but it was also less expensive.
AP Electric is my go to source for Generac parts. Needless to say, but I will, never again will I deal with Generac for parts. -
