Exact replacement
Was the exact replacement and works as designed so far. The replacement/installation is easy however the lock nuts installed by Generac might be tricky to remove. You need to hold the bolt heads from underneath in the battery compartment while undoing the lock nuts above. No problem. At first I thought they might be captive studs, that would have been easier. But nothing to do with this excellent replacement.

Exact replacement part
I received the battery charger replacement for my 16kw generator, very fast and installed it. The removal and installation is difficult when using original mounting screws and nuts due to inaccessibility. This of course is a factory problem. Using screws with an allen wrench openings made it a breeze to install them back.2417
