Applying to the program is simple with no obligation. We will pass your information on to residential customers looking for installers and generator service. You will be able to designate the brand and type of generators you are comfortable working with as well as have access to promotions exclusively for network partners.
Program Details:
- Discounts - AP Electric offers purchase volume discounts to General and Electrical Contractors. We will always guarantee the best prices at the time of your order. We always offer a 2% discount on orders paid by wire transfer or check. On top of all of that, we ship to the contiguous states for free. For more information, see our shipping policy. - Large Inventory Selection - AP Electric has over 1500 air cooled and liquid cooled generators in-stock that we can ship within 1 to 2 days of your order being placed (note a 5 day hold on checks).
- Verified Installation Leads - If AP Electric has customers who purchase generators in your chosen service area (25 miles from zip code 51346), we will pass these leads to you. We can talk about the mechanics but the referral fee we are seeking is minimal portion of the install fee. Paid only after you are paid by your client. Note - you do not have to be a part of this install program to receive the other benefits of our Preferred Contractor Program including the discounts above on generator(s) purchased.
- Free Shipping and Liftgate Service - You will receive free shipping to your location or your customers location on almost all orders in the contiguous 48 US states (exceptions being transfer switches and high-cost areas for shipping). Liftgate service is available on most products. Please verify service capabilities with your rep.
- Synchrony Financing – AP Electric can assist in getting your organization directly authorized with Synchrony Bank (Synchrony can be a sales tool for you by providing financing on generators and the install portion of the backup power solution for your customers – allows your customer to finance over time if needed).
- Access to 100,000 Parts - Program parts (common accessories) for all manufacturers can be found on apelectric.com. Aftermarket parts (over 75,000 SKUs) for Generac and Kohler can be found on apgeneratorparts.com.
- Transfer Switches - You will have priority access to all residential/commercial transfer switches for both Generac and Kohler which we stock in our inventory.
- Primary Account Manager - You will have a primary account manager and they are backed by a team of industry certified personnel in our call center.
- Technical Support - Technical support on all 20+ of AP Electric's partners, including Generac, Kohler, Cummins and Briggs & Stratton, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm central from AP Electric.
- Problem Escalation - You have the ability to escalate problems to management (company owners for 10 years) that will engage and try to solve these issue(s).
