Excellent Service
I was going to buy the Kohler 14RESAL-200SELS 14kW Generator with 200A SE Transfer Switch (Yes I did just copy the description to get it right) while the 10% off Kohler promotion was going on. Due to some family problems I missed it and still needed the 14kw generator. AP electric worked with me and gave me a bit of a price break in lieu of the battery. I can't say that this is something they will do regularly, but I'll tell you it made me one happy customer. I can't wait to have this 14kw air-cooled generator on the side of my home in case of a power outage. You never realize how important electricity is until you're without it.

Free Battery!
I've known that I wanted and needed a generator for a long time now. I'd been bouncing back and forth between manufacturers when I saw the free battery promotion that Kohler was offering on the air-cooled generators. I was already looking at the 14RESAL-200SELS generator package before so a free battery? I was sold! I just saved $114.95 and got one of the best best generators on the market today. AP electric made it an awesome experience.

Whole home backup
The best thing about this package is that they finally came out with a 14kw generator with the 200A switch we need. When we originally started looking at generators there was some other switch that wasn't any good for us. Then the 14RESAL-200SELS package was introduced and it was perfect. It's only a backup generator in the case of emergencies, but we also know better than to turn everything on during those times as well. This was 100% what we needed and the electrician had it fully installed the next day after it was delivered. Nothing to complain about with my Kohler 14kw air-cooled generator.

Kohler makes a pretty damn good product. I heard about a guy here on the east coast that had his whole gen flood after Sandy hit. Couple days later they were able to get it back up and running again. I couldn't imagine another manufacturer of air-cooled generators that would be able to make such a boast. Not sure what makes these residential generators stand out from the rest I just know it's what I like about them. This 14kw was able to start my 5-ton AC. That's an A+ in my book for quality and reliability.

Kohler peace of mind
We bought a Kohler generator because of past experiences with Kohler products. They just work and they last forever. An example is my lawn tractor. It has a Kohler engine, sits outside all winter long a,d in the spring, when the battery is charged, starts right up. That is the performance I expect from the Kohler 14RESAL generator we bought from AP Electric. Our electrician had us call AP to order. They were helpful and friendly. The generator arrived on time, and was installed with no problem. We are very happy with the experience and in knowing we don't have to worry next time the power goes out.
