Excellent Generator
Very pleased with my purchase. I had decided that I wanted a liquid cooled generator instead of an air cooled generator. Primary reason was I knew the liquid cooled would last longer than the air cooled and after talking to me electrician the installation cost was going to be the same. This just seemed to me the wiser investment. The Generac Protector RG02224 22kW Generator was the right size for my house. AP Electric had it in stock and the best price. Good investment
I live in a very rural part of Illinois and lose power a lot. I got tired of them not caring so I decided to purchase a generator. After looking at reviews I didn't want air-cooled because they can overheat so I opted for liquid-cooled. It's going to be a few weeks before the generator arrives and that's fine. What I'm happy about is I won't have to come home to a freezer full of unfrozen food or not have AC in the summer when we have the most outages. The RG02224 22kw Generac gen will hold me over until I can move out of this state.
