    Solid product

Had the unit for 6 months. Other than monthly test cycling, we've only had one 2 hour real drill. It has run flawlessly using propane as fuel. Have not had a reason to operate using the other fuel options. Removal of the oil dip stick is hindered by the frame. My unit was dropped hard on the pallet during shipping. The motor anti vibration mounts were found bent, requiring a repair I was able to complete without involving a repair shop. I opted for the wheel kit, as it provides single person maneuvering. And also opted for the battery start option. If you plan to use propane, the battery start is the way to go. You will not achieve enough inertia with the recoil rope to open the propane release valve and fire the engine.
I am able to run my whole house, inspite of having to derate for propane and elevation (4500). I paid extra to purchase this unit over much less expensive internet and box store options. I wanted piece of mind knowing I've got a dependable solid product. That will be working years from now and not some cheaply made generator destined for the trash heap shortly after purchasing. Borrowed quote "the sweetness of low price is long forgotten. While the bitterness of poor quality remains."

After experiencing prolonged loss of power this last summer, this has really helped take the worry away. AP Electric did a fantastic job assisting me with this purchase.
