Generac 5633 Cold Weather Kit for 6.8L Engine with Gear Drive Features:
The Cold Weather Kits consist of a battery warmer that has a thermostat built into the battery wrap. When temperatures fall below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the battery warmer maintaining optimum battery temperature for the best generator starting. These kits are recommended for generators installed in regions where the temperature regularly falls below 32 degrees (Fahrenheit). When installing a cold weather kit, it is required that the oil is replaced with 5W-30 synthetic for better engine start capability. Always refer to owner's manual for correct part number. Do not rely on picture.

This Generac 5633 Cold Weather Kit for 6.8L Engine generac generators has everything you need. Not cheap. But if you live in Maine like I do not worth running the risc of the generator not starting. Well packaged.
